Ian Fleming wrote Casino Royale in 1953. The first of his twelve Bond novels. Fleming drew from his experience in the British naval intelligence during WWII, perhaps concocting his bar recipes through personal taste tests during his wartime, journalist and writing careers.
Note that my 007 art shows my preference of olives over lemon slices... artistic license! Same for the striped cocktail sticks... !
