Haggis. Nothing like it. Nothing.
I grew up eating haggis. Friday night haggis and chips. Vinegar, brown sauce and salt. Or for proper dinner it would be haggis, chappit' tatties and bashed neeps. Divine.
This art is a salute to the national dish of Scotland, as immortalized by the Bard himself - Robert Burns.
If you've ever attended a Burns' supper you'll have experienced the whole production - the address to the haggis, bagpipes, whiskey, the lot. Perhaps a wee bit of trifle for desert and more whiskey.
Haggis lives on as the National Dish of Scotland. McSweens is the brand of choice - if you don't make your own!
