Sculpted at a feverish pace in an artistic fit of nightmare induced creativity, The Horror in Clay is a recreation of the bas-relief crafted by Henry A. Wilcox in the classic H.P. Lovecraft tale, “The Call of Cthulhu”.
Available in a limited run of 100 resin casts, Cryptocurium is proud to offer this story accurate recreation of Wilcox’s horrific creation.
The design features great Cthulhu, among the non-euclidean masonry of R’lyeh, grasping at the viewer. The frightful scene is framed with the alien hieroglyphs described in the story which read, “In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.”
Each “Horror in Clay” is hand-cast in solid resin and comes mounted in a red velvet lined black shadow box with a museum style catalog tag from Miskatonic University. (Measures 9″ x 9″)

I don't typically leave reviews but I felt compelled to say something. This item far exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is fantastic.
