Anne Hughes Patterson is a ceramic artist based in Westlake Village, California. A recovering political spokesperson, she found her way to the pottery studio after searching for a creative space where she could make a mess (and no one asked about her day job). Anne prefers to keep her ceramic forms simple, believing that classic shapes never go out of style. She works primarily on the wheel with a porcelain-based clay to create functional pieces for the home. When not making ceramics, you can find her running in the Santa Monica Mountains or enjoying a glass of wine with her husband.
