This unique 2024 ALICE IN WONDERLAND Wall Calendar REPRINT was originally drawn, printed and produced in 2018 by Linda Cook DeVona -as her annual 2019 calendar for her business, Farmhouse Greetings based in her home in Afton, NY, but it has been reprinted with 2024 dates. Each year since 1990, Linda has created a new, themed calendar based on things she loves. Past calendars have been devoted to country scenes, barns, tractors, horses, old cars and trucks, farm animals, cats, wildlife animals, flowers, a nearby State Park and her children.

This ALICE IN WONDERLAND wall calendar features a dozen of Linda’s distinctive, pen-and-ink Drawings, illustrating each of the 12 chapters in Lewis Carroll’s book. Linda first heard this book read to her as a child, when she was confined to her parents’ darkened room, where she recovered from the measles. An elderly babysitter patiently read to her in the dark, and Linda still remembers her reading to her and has remained very grateful, but no longer remembers her name. Since then, Linda has reread the nonsensical tale several times to each of her three children, and has gleaned more detail with each reading, but it still remains somewhat confusing.

Linda spends the first half of every year researching and creating new Illustrations for her annual calendar which she draws with a Staedtler technical pen on smooth Bristol board. She also hand numbers the date pages including the tiny before and after months on each month’s page. Then she prints each calendar in small batches of 6-12, on a black-and-white laser printer, and collates, binds and hole punches each one... It is a labor intensive, loving process.

Each wall calendar is printed on heavy, ivory stock and opens to 11”x17”and has ample space in the numeral blocks to note appointments, and each month’s illustration is 8 1/2” x11”.

The month’s illustrations can be framed at year’s end, and/or colored.This would make a perfect gift for an art or Alice in Wonderland fan or for someone who wants an original, limited edition calendar! Give the gift that lasts all year and beyond!
