“As Above, So Below” (version 2)

Recently I have been doing these small drawing of trees that appear to be floating. They are always drawn with no background and with some sort of elaborate root system. This was the second in what became a series of 5 on paper.

The roots tend to become more elaborate as I draw them more. This series is done with archival inks on 6” x 8”, 400 series mixed media paper. It is sturdy paper and would look wonderful in a frame (matted or without a matte.)

What you will receive when you buy this is not a print or a reproduction. Instead, I will draw a tree similar to the photos but because it is hand drawn it will be uniquely yours. While I could simply offer prints, at this time, I much prefer to draw something exclusively for you.

I love to draw and I get great satisfaction from it. In turn, you will get something that no one else has. While I will be sure it is similar to the drawing above, it won’t be an exact duplicate.
