Kathy Westgate
Owner, Soapmaker
I, Kathy Westgate have been making soap since 1999, loving every aspect of it. It’s a passion now. I thought about handing the business over to my daughter, and I know that may happen at just the right time, but I just can’t stop loving what I do.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Essential Armor Insect Repellent Spray safe for clothing?
I have not had any problems with staining nor have I heard from anyone who has purchased that they have. The base is witch hazel along with the essential oils.
Are your products safe for children?
My products have been created to be safe for the whole family. I list each ingredient in the listings and on the labels so be sure to check for possible allergies. Also, check with your doctor for very young children.
Care instructions
My soaps are made with a high percentage of olive oil so they will never be as hard as store bought soaps. I recommend keeping them out of water when not in use, especially in the summer when it can be more humid. They will last until they are virtually see-through; no waste!
