Buy US Made, Say thanks when mom offers her dishes! And be in love with old wood furniture, pottery, and whatever you can repurpose and keep out of landfills! And when looking for a gift or something unusual - buy a treasure... look on Etsy or stop at an antique shop. I'd love to have something I treasure be a newly loved treasure for someone else.

It is June 22nd, it was light until almost 9 pm. So much has changed since I started my shop. For those of you new to Nan's Haven. I grew up in my parent's antique shop in Massachusetts, called Boulder Farm. When I graduated from high school, I went to college and pursued a "normal" life. I am smiling because anyone who thrifts or goes to flea markets knows it is a different life (my husband does not get it). Finally I got back into it. My mom, Nan Haven, passed 11 years ago next week (June 30). she was the best picker. So I started going through my basement of goodies as well as things I started picking and I am loving it. And I feel my mom is with me on every journey. It has been over two years.

Anyway - what I wanted to say is if you love something buy it. I have had 20+ collections over the years. And things don't have to match to bring you joy. Sorry but if you like the items, you can mix farmhouse, art pottery, and mid century. And if you like something in my shop - I am open to payments or holding something until you can pay for it! I want happy clients. It is getting challenging sourcing items with time constraints - sometimes I wish I didn't work a full time job - and with the cost of gas, I have not been on an all day picking trip in awhile. I try and do a short route and combine grocery shopping. Please feel free to message me if you are looking for something specific or special...

I have been thinking about all the cool vintage things I have collected and have for sale. I try and price things reasonably for buyers across the US, because I love sharing the beauty of vintage. Think about new decor that is in big box stores or even small shops, it is mostly made in China, made to only be decor for a year or two, and then be disposed. And it is expensive. So think about the next time you buy a vase for a wedding gift or a housewarming gift. Share the love of collecting. Start someone on a new adventure! Buy vintage. Let me know how I can help : )

Merry Christmas - I'd like to thank all my buyers, followers, and shoppers! I love you all! Sales were a bit slower as December went on but I know how many directions we are all pulled in as we get closer to the holiday. Happy October! I know I am a couple days in but for many this is such a great time of year. I have almost hit 300 sales. I am truly humbled and appreciate all who make a purchase, "favorite" an item, or just stop and look. I also want to say how much "reviews" make me happy. They are very meaningful and the feedback reminds me of the old days meeting antique lovers at a flea market and sharing stories! Hope you find lots of goodies this autumn! Hi Nan's Haven shoppers!
It is July, 2021 and I am still going through my basement reviewing and posting my mom's antiques. I have also been enjoying going to garage and estate sales! It reminds me of when I was growing up in Massachusetts and "yard saling" with my mom on Saturdays! Now, it is fun to see people sharing their "purchases" online! I will be posting things as I find them and hope you find something you like!

I also wanted to mention that I reuse boxes, bubble wrap, air sacks - sometimes my packages are not that pretty but I really work to make sure the antique lovelies ship they way they should!

So thanks for everything! I hit 250 sales a few weeks ago and I am having so much fun. Every buyer is so nice and fun to work with!

Antiques and collectibles are used items. Many items have imperfections, often we find treasures that are well loved and cared for and we are grateful. I have a policy of not accepting returns. My primary reason is that I spend a great deal of time taking photos and writing my listings describing my items. I am happy to answer any questions. I am truly grateful for every customer and purchase and therefore I appreciate your understanding. Happy Collecting.
