My name is Shelley Susak. I live in beautiful Colorado. I have a day job, but my true passion is being creative.
When I first saw the wine bottle cheese trays I became intrigued. I didn't know anything about glass, but quickly learned with the help of the Internet and a local glass shop owner . I started creating and selling at a local farmers market. From here, I was invited to sell at holiday craft fairs. It was a Ladies Night Out fundraiser for hospice where I got my first big break...a 400 bottle order! Wow...I was so excited. Not only was this great for business, it also allowed me to purchase my kiln. She is a real beauty,
Now that I had my kiln and a little more flexibility, I found Etsy. I open my shop in 2008. It was a place to sell my wine bottle cheese trays. And although I had some success in the short time it was open, I needed to turn my focus back to my family. Fast forward 6 years and here I am again!
I renamed my shop, Shuffle Ball Change. For anyone that's taken tap, it's a basic tap dance step. For me, it represents my need to mix things up, to keep my creative journey evolving and to keep things new and exciting.....for both of us!
Many of the materials I use are from things headed for the landfill. That being said, I can't always get the materials I want or need to make an exact replica. Therefore, things get shuffled up a bit. Or...is it that I get bored and need to move on? Perhaps a combination of both, I'll let you decide.
I take pride in my craftsmanship. I go the extra step to make sure they meet my quality standards....which are pretty high!!!! If I haven't achieved that goal, I want to know about it so I can make it right. But I do believe that you will be pleased with the quality of my products.
I hope you find what you are looking for. If not, Custom creations are always welcome!!!! Let's brainstorm together!!!!
Thanks for visiting my shop and may you find that "perfect" gift.
Sincerely,
Shelley Susak
