These are my favorite moments when people are reading my cards.

Customers who like my cards have a strong wit and enjoy the relationships in their lives. They see friends and family in my sayings – “This is so her!” And they like the idea of their recipient laughing as much as they did when they first read the card. Sometimes it takes them a moment to get the joke, like “Girl, you got screwed”. When they do, the shock of reading something that brazen stuns them until the scream-laugh kicks in.

A woman once said my cards are “pretty, then sneak up on you and BAM”! Another lady told me she loves sarcastic cards but never buys them. She said, “Yours are the exception”.

I don’t generally create category cards. Cards like “Bring it” are great on their own or as a birthday, wedding, baby, or congrats on the new job greetings. There are exceptions, like “Happy Anniversary, Goofball” and “Congraduations, Smarty Pants”. But the rest are created like art where the message is in the eye of the giver. It allows them the freedom to think about the person, not the event.

These are the experiences I envision happening in your small shop. Moments of hilarity that will make you glad to be a witness. It makes me happy when my cards are loved. I hope you will carry my cards and find that same happiness.
