Frequently asked questions
When will my order ship?
Our processing time on non-preorder items ranges from 1-14 business days depending on the time of the year. This is the time it takes to create and process your order. Processing times are continuously updated and estimated based on the current volume of orders we need to process. Our processing time may change daily during Christmas shopping season. All orders are processed in the order they are received.
While the majority of our orders are processed and shipped early, please plan according to the full processing time. We are unable to cancel orders that are within our estimated processing time window.
My order's USPS tracking number says it's still "Pre-Transit". Has my order shipped?
Once your order has shipped, it may take up to 24-72 business hours for tracking information to be updated through USPS.
Due to COVID and a high volume of mail (even after holiday shopping season) USPS may experience delays in transit and tracking updates when handling your package. Please remember that a lack of tracking updates does not indicate that your order has not shipped.
Be aware the USPS estimates their delivery dates and may be delayed during high mail volume seasons. While these delays are unpredictable and frustrating, we are not at fault as the seller.
I think my package is lost in the mail.
Oh no! If your item tracks as "In Transit" or "Delivered" and you have not received it, we recommend reaching out directly to your local post office. We're happy to help to the best of our ability, however all lost packages should be reported directly to USPS through your local post office.
Starting August 1st, 2022, Etsy's Purchase Protection Program is in effect for orders lost or damaged in the mail that are under $250 in order value. Just file an Etsy claim and their team will happily assist with a refund for qualifying orders.
We are not responsible for packages lost in the mail due to an old address on file for the customer. Before ordering, please ensure your most current address is entered at checkout.
What is your return policy?
Due to the made-to-order style of our business in which we do not keep shelved inventory, all sales are final.
While we do our very best to make each sure that each and every order is perfect, we're all human and mistakes occasionally happen. If there is an issue with your order, please reach out to our team within 7 business days of delivery and our team will be more than happy to issue replacement items or an exchange if necessary. Please know we are unable to accommodate exchanges on worn or washed items.
How is your apparel produced?
All of our apparel is produced ethically in our socially-compliant WRAP-certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) factories that are sweatshop-free and child labor-free. We deliver exceptional quality, superior softness, and high attention to detail so you can shop with confidence.
Our printed and embroidered designs are all created in-house by our family owned print shop. Our materials are 100% non-toxic and we only use CPSIA-certified inks.
All artwork is created and owned by Eli + Emery LLC and may not be copied or reproduced in any way. All photos and product descriptions are intellectual property of Eli + Emery LLC and any violations will be directly reported to Etsy.
What are your washing and care instructions?
Our printed apparel is machine washable with the garment turned inside out. Line drying is recommended but garments may be dried in low heat settings. As with all apparel, line drying will extend the life of your garment tremendously. Do not iron directly on printed designs.
Embroidered apparel is machine washable in cold water and line dry only. Design may be directly ironed in low heat settings.
Due to the dye process, some unwashed garments may discolor from direct sun and sunscreen. PLEASE WASH BEFORE WEARING to prevent this. We are not responsible for sun stained apparel. Thank you for understanding!
Do you ship internationally?
Other than shipping within the US, we do offer international shipping to Canada and Australia. Please know that we are not responsible for any shipping or customs delays that may occur. The buyer is always responsible for any import fees or taxes that may be due.
Please understand that mail not picked up from customs or from your local PO and returned to us will not be refunded.
Cancellations + Modifying Orders
Due to a high volume holiday shopping season, please know that we CANNOT CANCEL OR MODIFY ORDERS once placed. Leaving a note at checkout with a requested delivery date does not guarantee it will arrive by that specific date. Our team will not be able to accommodate the request as all of our orders are processed in the order they are received.
We encourage all shoppers to plan according to the FULL estimated processing time. If the current estimated processing time is 1-5 business days, plan on your order shipping on the 5th business day. Our team will continuously update our estimated processing time during holiday shopping season to keep it as accurate as possible.
Policies Regarding Order Notes
Please be aware that our team is unable to accommodate special requests (such as changing the design or product color) or ensure delivery outside of our posted estimated processing time through order notes.
Notes with requests such as these WILL NOT BE REPLIED TO by our team during holiday shopping seasons and are still held by our cancellation and return policy.
Your order will be filled according to what was described in the product listing and within our estimated processing time. Please reach out to our team prior to placing your order if you have a special request. Thank you!
