We moved to Asheville, NC from Enfield NH. I am a music teacher and Nick is a bluegrass musician - surprise, he got a job first! So, in between job hunting and exploring, I began doing what the women in my family do best: creating. Penny rugs, crochet, embroidery, and now spinning - you name it, I can do it.

It certainly helps that there are so many farms down here! I'm always hunting down new local vendors, farmers, and shops. Everything in the shop is either local or repurposed - I just don't see the fun in putting my money anywhere else, besides, with all I've found why would I want to?!

This shop has been a wonderful adventure thus far, and every purchase you makes helps us out, gives me new ideas, and continues the journey!
