Hi there,

Here's a little more about Tiny Bird Textiles:

Tiny Bird Textiles is me, Ailsa Wilson, a forty-something, mother of two, who on account of going grey, could not wait another day to get back to her original love; colour, pattern, design and textiles.

Now working from a washed-up 1950's beach hut studio, this one-woman start-up is focussed on designing and making beautiful, useful textiles and homewares, for people looking for contemporary, bold, colourful design.

All designs are original, distinctive and naturally inspired, with strong, bold, modern lines. They are unashamedly colourful, vibrant and graphic. All products are produced on a small scale in Britain but will ship anywhere that has a letter box.

I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in Design with Design History and worked in the brand design industry in London for nearly 20 years, so I'm not entirely making it up as I go along.
