suzee... where is the audtion? i've gone all over the city from penn station and never spent more than $12 on cab fares.. that was before gas got crazy, but it shouldn't be that bad. studio is midtown?
that's a LONG day. would you consider driving to connecticut or westchester and getting a cheaper hotel there and taking the train into the city?

It on the upper west side but someone from the free thinkers offered to meet me for lunch at Penn Station and point me in the right direction. 12 dollars cab fare not bad probably more now well I have the most important part figured out. maybe I will head to philly after the audition and visit my daughter spend the night and head back the next day. I love trains. I really don't like to drive much. cept in Maine. Less traffic.

Don't you think we can still have a May meeting even if dirtgirl and allsey can't make it? I don't think meetings need to be mandatory. It's a good opportunity just to get together and network and talk about our shops and crafts. It doesn't necessarily have to be a meeting where team issues are resolved. We could have the May meeting be more of a show and tell and also shop critques or marketing tips shared. What do you think??

karhumoon-- Well, it was going to be in Rockland on May 10th but in the last thread dirtgirl said that her and allsey didn't want to have a May meeting because they were busy. I'm wondering if there's still interest and if it's ok to still do it and have an informal meeting so that we can still see each other.
