Etsy Angels (EANGTEAM) lending a hand to the Anderson House - a Shelter for Abused Women and Children.

♥ About The Anderson House:
The Anderson House is located on Prince Edward Island in Canada. The Anderson House was established in 1980 to provide a place of safety for women and children who are victims of abuse and to work towards the elimination of family violence. The Association believes that it is a basic human right to be free of abuse and fear of abuse in relationships. The women are provided with support from the trained staff there and help with their children.

It is partially funded by the government but relies a great deal on donations. The Anderson House also does fundraising of their own. For more information go to their website: www.gov.pe.ca/infopei/index.php3?number=5531

During the month of January, the Etsy Angels Street Team is raising money to help The Anderson House.

Each member is either donating an item where 100% proceeds go to the The Anderson House or donating a percentage of their January sales that will go to the The Anderson House.

Help us help the abused women and children and fight family violence!

You can search Anderson House and EANGTEAM for items for sale. Each purchase helps the cause. There will be a list of shops participating below.

♥ The Etsy Angels Team formed after the hard work and dedication of several people who came together and raised money for two little boys that had lost their mom in a fatal car accident in December 2007.
