Although I’ve lead a life of creativity as far back as I can remember, the start of Noma Macrame was actually a sort of *happy* accident! On the search for curtains for my son’s bedroom, I decided to try my hand at making my own macrame solution. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and have since been creating macrame designs as well as teaching workshops all over the country. When I’m macrameing, I’m able to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and receive an overwhelming sense of calm which I aspire to transmit through my pieces.

Being a professional photographer for the past 15 years has allowed me to hone my skills and learn the ins and outs of color, light, and depth which has a huge influence on my macrame work. I meticulously hand-make each and every piece, down to mixing the dye I use! I am forever inspired by nature and hand-pick the highest quality (fallen) branches and materials sourced from mother nature herself. The ropes I use are 100% cotton to ensure quality and to bring in a touch of the natural world to the indoors.

My shop is filled with lovingly handmade wall hangings, plant hangers and table runners that will create a feeling of natural elegance and earthy calm within your home.
