I bought parts 3-4 of level 1, and there are a number of things I love about these resources (many books new to me, newer books available at our library, already in chronological order, great variety). It dramatically simplified my history planning for this year. I am especially happy to see that the "to the present" ACTUALLY goes to the present, unlike so many others. I'm sure this isn't easy! One of the things I want to make sure my kids see this year is that history is being made all the time as ordinary people live their lives...I'm planning to put family members on our timeline alongside all the famous people and big events, but I hadn't even considered that covering the pandemic would allow them to see THEMSELVES as part of history, and I think that's brilliant.
