Gold Filled:
Gold filled is a layer of actual gold, pressure bonded to another metal such as brass which makes it hypoallergenic. Gold filled is different from gold plating in that it has 100% more gold than gold plating. It is tarnish resistant, does not flake, or turn colors.

Sterling Silver:
Sterling Silver (.925) is used in our designs. Sterling silver will tarnish over time due to exposure to air. This is completely normal and some polishing can shine your piece right up!

Jewelry Care:
You can preserve your metals and gemstones by keeping them away from water and chemicals. Gold filled jewelry can be cleaned using warm, soapy water. Sterling silver jewelry can be cleaned using a polishing agent, but you can maintain brightness by storing it in an air tight baggie to prevent tarnishing. Avoid wearing your delicate jewelry while sleeping.
