Skip the sudsy struggle with Aquarian Bath's 2-in-1 shampoo-conditioning bars! Forget about poorly formulated bars that leave behind residue or strip your hair. Ours cleanse gently and condition deeply, leaving your locks soft, bouncy, and irresistibly touchable.
Soft water? Hard water? No problem. Our bars adapt to both, delivering a satisfying lather and effortless rinse every time. And unlike those tiny, harsh "hockey-puck" bars flooding the market, ours are handcrafted with love and without synthetic ingredients, right here in-house.
No nasties here! We say no to chemical fragrances, SLS, palm oil, or artificial colors. This means even hyper-sensitive scalps can rejoice! We've had 15 years of happy customer feedback to prove it. Plus, our bars are vegan and plastic-free – good for your hair and the planet!

How to wash hair with a shampoo bar:
Washing with a shampoo bar is pretty simple. First, you wet your hair, then rub the shampoo bar in a few patches in your hair. Work up the lather with your hands. Make sure the lather goes through all your hair and down to your scalp and scrub. Give your hair a complete cleaning. Rinse your hair with fresh water making sure to get out all the shampoo. Rinsing your hair with bathtub water that already has soap mixed in with it will not give you a clean rinse. You can wash with the shampoo bars every 2 to 3 days, or more often as needed.
Transitioning to Shampoo Bars:
For some people, it takes longer than others to adjust to shampoo bars. This depends on a lot of factors including if there is buildup from other products in your hair. If your former shampoo has strongly stripped your natural oils, then your scalp may seem to overproduce sebum when you switch to our milder shampoo. Read this blog post if you need help transitioning.

Incompatible products:
salt hair sprays
Hard Water:
We formulated all our shampoo bars to work with soft water and moderately hard water. They may create build-up for those with extremely hard well water.
Swimmers:
After swimming in a chlorinated pool or saltwater, wash your hair twice for the best results. This is also the best practice when using traditional shampoos.
Bleached and highlighted hair:
Our formulas work best with natural hair types, henna-dyed hair, and dyed but not bleached hair. Bleached hair has a rough surface area that traps conditioning oils. This makes it difficult to get a residue-free rinse with bleached hair. Results vary with the level of damage from bleaching. Using a diluted vinegar rinse may help remove residue after washing with the shampoo bar. Use 1-2 Tablespoons in 1-quart water. Bleached hair that has also been dyed requires a strand test to make sure vinegar does not alter the hair color.
