This 65mm Stingray three-part Dust Shoe bundle features compact, efficient, high flow dust collection through an industry standard 2-1/2 inch shop vacuum / dust collector port (adapters are available to fit Fein, Festool and our own 1-1/4 in. flexible collection hose. The 65mm Stingray Dust Shoe was designed to fit a wide variety of desktop and benchtop CNC machines that are equipped with a 65mm spindle, Makita RT0701C and Gearish RoutER11. Fits popular machines from Avid, Carbide (Shapeoko), Genmitsu PROVerXL, Inventables (X-Carve), OpenBuilds and many more!

Compact and well suited for bench-top CNC routers! The Stingray Dust Shoe design takes up less space around the spindle, to better clear obstructions and give you better access to your material working area.

Efficient dust collection! Unlike traditional bulky dust shoes that feature an offset collection port, Our Stingray Dust Shoe places the collection action in close proximity to the spindle and end mill. Our collection port wraps the spindle and brings the brush containment ring in close, reducing the volume contained by the brush ring. This targeted collection and reduced collection area volume, improves the chip and dust removal function, even with lower performing vacuum and dust collectors.

High flow design! Most benchtop CNC users will wish to run dust extraction equipment that features a 2-1/2 in. collection hose. The Stingray accommodates this high flow hose type and allows quick adaptation to high-end vacuums like Fein or Festool using optional adapters.

Our three-part dust-shoe design makes setup a breeze. Each Stingray Dust Shoe is composed of a durable clamp style spindle base, that can be quickly positioned and adjusted for height, along the base of your router. The base is retained with a simple and secure clamp mechanism and receives our body spacer ring. The body spacer ring sets the initial height of the collection brush and receives additional spacers and collection accessories. Our custom dust ring brush locks into place below the body and is loaded with a supple yet durable 2 in. medium weight brush fill. Additional brush rings, spindle adapters, dust-port reducers, replacement brush and spacer rings are available from our 3018nc.com web store and our 3018nc Etsy shop.

Upgradable! Everyone has a unique need and we've tried to be as flexible with this design as possible. At checkout you may add custom collection port adapters to fit your vacuum system. You may also purchase additional spacer rings that measure 3/8 inch in depth. In some cases sliding the dust shoe along the spindle to raise and lower the brush, is not practical. This is where our keyed spacer rings come in handy. Our spacers allow you to instantly position the dust shoe brush lower to the work – accommodating longer end mills. We find that most end mill options are adequately covered using 1 - 2 spacer rings.

Our dust shoe is universal and was developed to fit a wide array of machine configurations. Prior to purchasing our product, please ensure your machine can accommodate the following required clearances.

– Spindle clamp thickness (measured at front of router, the amount your clamp extends from the body of the router) <= 10mm
– Requires 25 mm of router body exposed beneath clamp.
– Mount dust shoe even with the base of the router/spindle.
– Obstructions behind router (back of router body to Z-axis gantry mounting plate) <=8mm
