I painted the watercolor original as I sat outside an Eastside coffee shop in my hometown of Anchorage, Alaska on an usually sunny summer day. I got lost in the greens of the meadows and thought if only I could reach the summit in a blink of an eye. Original was on rough watercolor paper, hence the earthy texture.
