They really shimmer in light. Antiqued gold settings help make these one-of-a-kind stones stand out. These settings are professionally done and of heirloom quality. Very elegant and old-world looking without being overdone. On antiqued gold over copper ear hooks, they hang appx. 2" from top of ear wire to bottom. As each stone is one of a kind and unique with the fire pattern being unique, the flashing occurs and brightens differently in natural sunlight as opposed to other forms of light. All photographs are taken in natural sunlight by a window in my home without filters. The fire flame absolutely flashes more in natural light than indoor light.
