Diverge from traditional tree blocks with triangles or rectangles and make this organic tree that will be blooming all year around. It is the perfect block to start paper piecing with. Depending on your fabric choice, you could turn it into a fruit tree, a flowering tree, or any other tree you can think of. The height of this block matches the height of the Camping Tent block which you can download for free from my blog (protoquilt.blogspot.com). They will go quite well together for an outdoor themed quilt. With it, you can frame a single block or insert multiple of them into a bigger quilt or any other project you are working on. Have fun with your color and pattern choices to make it personal and unique for you.
The size of this block is 5”x6”. You can easily reduce or enlarge the size by printing at a different scale.
After your purchase, you will be able to download a PDF file of the pattern.
The PDF includes a colored and labeled diagram, a page to plan your fabric choices, the pattern at 100% scale for the original image and a mirrored copy, and a printing chart to reduce or enlarge the pattern.
The PDF comes in standard letter size (8.5"x11"), but you should be able to print on A4 paper.
If you are not familiar with paper piecing, you can check out my blog to read a tutorial. I have also listed some other resources to get you started. (http://protoquilt.blogspot.com/)
