The weathered map of Westeros/world of GoT is laser etched into light weight upholstery leather, aged with antiquing stain and hand charred for that world traveled look. Finished off with a thin wax based clear coat.

The plain print is just etched into the leather (not stained or charred).

These maps are intended to be art pieces and props, they are not for navigating. Burning in details rather than printing looks really cool, but diminishes the clarity of the text making the smallest city names unreadable. The effect is worsened on the smaller map sizes.
