Fine Silver - more pure than sterling silver, fine silver is 0.999 percent pure where sterling is 92.5 percent. Fine silver is softer than sterling, however is less prone to oxidation than sterling. This metal will not turn your skin any color.

I love the smaller size, and it fits snugly on my ear without being irritating. The engraving is delicate and classy where most Nordic symbols in jewelry you find tends to be blocky and gaudy.
