Gold hammered hoops have a classic look and these are made with high quality 14K gold filled wire. 14KGF wire is sometimes called "lifetime gold" as the gold layer is much thicker than plate and does not wear off quickly as gold plating does.

Note: Hammering is done with a ball-peen hammer on a steel block so the opposite side of the wire is flattened during the hammering process.
