Materials: wool felt, embroidery floss, brooch back

Autumn in the air.

Each brooch is made using one of my own designs, carefully hand-cut and hand-stitched by me using between 2 and 3 layers of wool felt and various embroidery stitches.

Wool felt is made of 100% natural fibers, it doesn't shine, it is durable, stronger and denser than wool blend felt while softer than acrylic felt. Wool felt brooches do not crimp, having a firmer appearance when worn.

The felt I use in creating the brooches is a premium 1 mm thick merino wool felt made in Europe and the USA. It is certified to be free of harmful toxic chemicals being safe for babies and children also.

Size: acorn approx. 1.8 x 1.4" (4.5 x 3.5 cm).
oak leaf approx. 2.2 x 1.6" (5.5 x 4 cm).
Carefully secured with a 2 cm brooch back.
