This is a handmade miniature blanket chest or keepsake box. Constructed of beautifully figured Cherry and based on 18th century designs, it features all dovetailed construction, bracket feet, removable tray and mortised lock. It is finished inside and out in an Antique cherry stain and a satin lacquer finish that really makes the figure pop out and gives it a nice warm look and feel. Outside dimensions are roughly 10" long, 5 1/2" wide and 6 3/8" tall. A visually stunning piece that would make a great home for your treasured keepsakes, jewelry, or just for display. This chest can also be ordered in tiger maple.
