Learn about Pharaoh's dream and Joseph's interpretations with this Parshat Miketz Printable Color and Craft Puppets! It's perfect for teaching the ninth Parsha torah portion to toddlers, preschool and elementary.
The Pharaoh's Dream craft features Pharaoh, Joseph, and two cow puppets: a skinny cow and a fat one, on backgrounds. The skinny cow "opens" to swallow the fat one.
These are glorified coloring pages, making them doable for any age group.
All my crafts are based on the accepted Orthodox Jewish understanding of the events (to the best of my ability).
***How to use the Parshat Miketz Pharaoh's Dream craft***
Print (I recommend cardstock for the puppets).
Color and cut out the puppets on the outline
Fold the skinny cow on the dashed line.
Add sticks to the puppets and to both sides of the skinny cow.
Play out Pharaoh's dream, by opening the skinny cow and "swallowing" the fat cow.
You can also print the cow pages seven times if you want all seven cows (for example, if you're acting it out collaboratively as a class)
***Print then cut***
Your download also includes PNG images, with transparent backgrounds around the puppet, and white within. These can be used with Cricut’s “print then cut” feature.
***Included***
--> Joseph
--> Pharaoh
--> Fat cow (eating grass)
--> Skinny cow (folds in half)
This is the COLOR-IN version. Any colors showcased on the images is a sample craft.
This makes for a great teaching tool for Parshat Miketz or any time you're discussing the story of Pharaoh's dream.
