Our little Pi is a meditation stool, yoga seat, entirely made of recycled wood from discarded oak wine barrels.

The top and the sides are tinted with the red wine previously held in the barrel and complemented with a rich ‘cherry chocolate’ wine based stain, while the other portions of the stool may be finished in either golden oak, for a two-tones effect, or in the same cherry chocolate color for a uniform result (see photos of the 2 options)

Pi's measurements are about 6” (front) to 7” (back) high, 14” in length, about 5 1/2”-5 3/4” wide
(Each barrel stave is different so the size may vary slightly).

If preferred, the base may be made with a slightly rounder profile; this option (select "tilting" at checkout) will permit to rock and tilt the stool, allowing the user to find the ideal position.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: every person is different and not all seats work equally well for every body type, height, etc. Please make sure that the advertised seat's height, general dimensions/proportions and design seem satisfactory to your needs and preferences prior to ordering and contact us to inquire about possible adjustments and customizations; we are happy to meet your needs!

Starting from a kneeling position place the stool under you, with the higher side of the seat towards the back, sit and tuck your legs on the sides. The simple tilted top design will allow you to sit on this little stool very comfortably.

The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create. Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.

As no barrel stave or band is the same, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item.

Each one is individually handcrafted sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.
