These are Sandstone Coasters which come in a set of 4 with a black metal holder. Each 4" diameter coaster in the set depicts a different Poppy Specimen, as photographed by this artist. All sublimation transfer process is completed by this artist.

They can be used for hot or cold liquid beverages and are easily wiped off with a damp cloth for cleaning. The Photos are absorbed into the sandstone using a heat transfer process referred to as sublimation. The photos are computer printed onto a transfer paper which is, then, combined with the blank coaster and placed in a heat press. After heating and then cooling all paper is removed and the photo has become part of the coaster itself. The only thing which will destroy the photo would be breaking the coaster by dropping on a hard surface.

I am, also, able to make sets of coasters using your photos to make a personalized set for you, or you may choose photos from my website. Simply send me a photo (s) you would like in your own set and I will print them for you. You will receive the same cork backing and black metal holder with your set.
