Materials: linen, wool

This kit contains all the materials needed for making a small mug rug or table mat. The 7 1/2 inch diameter pattern is hand drawn on a 16 inch square of primitive linen. All fabric is new, 100% wool of the highest quality and hand-dyed by me. In addition to the serged outer edges, I have zig-zagged around the pattern so it is ready for trimming after the hooking is completed. Cording and whipping yarn are included for finishing the edges as well as a photo guide and printed directions. You have the option of purchasing this kit with or without a rug hook.

Please note. This is traditional rug hooking, not latch hooking. The materials used to complete this project are strips of wool cloth. Tools needed are a rug hook, a frame of some kind (embroidery, quilting, or rug hooking) to hold the pattern taut, scissors, and a large eye needle for finishing.
