This is an inspirational painting of Saint Bernadette Soubrious from Lourdes, France with inspirational words that our Lady spoke to her; "friendship", "worship", "joy".

This image that I painted of St. Bernadette is what I call a "folk icon". It is similar to religious icons in that there is symbolism in them, I pray as I paint these religious images and hope that they become inspiration for those who view them. Some symbolism is explained in the brief biography that accompanies this image on the back. This religious art is the perfect Confirmation gift or inspirational art.

The other images are examples of another of my paintings, printed and mounted on wood panels. The panel is 3/4" deep and the sides are given a whitewash paint. Images are securely mounted on the wood panel and sealed on top and sides with many coats of a lightfast, non-yellowing satin finish acrylic varnish. Both sizes can hang on a wall or be displayed on a tabletop.
