This listing is for a push button collapsible polypro hula hoop made with Champagne gold metallic tubing from Hoopologie.com. Available in both 3/4 (standard) and 5/8 (skinny) polypro tubing and in a variety of diameters (measured by outer diameter.) If you want a size that isn't listed, please message me to enquire.
Polypro tubing is very light and responsive, which makes it very rewarding for advanced hoopers but can be a little frustrating for beginners as it is not very forgiving of mistakes. That said, switching to or just trying out polypro can feel very liberating and speed up the process of developing more precise movements.
An inner strip of grip tape will be added at no extra cost - if you have a colour preference (or would rather not have any grip), please let me know in your notes to seller. The available colours are UV pink, UV blue, UV green, UV orange, yellow, purple, teal, dark green, white and black.

** Caring For Polypro **
Polypro tubing is much more fragile than beginner hoop tubing, and needs to be treated with care to prolong its life for as long as possible.
Try to avoid leaving your hoop in very hot or cold environments, and to avoid dropping it on hard surfaces.
Please be aware that using your hoop in cold weather - especially if you have a high impact style of hooping - increases the risk of your hoop breaking.
Please do not store your hoops collapsed. Storing it full size and only collapsing it for brief periods when necessary will extend its life.
Collapse hoops slowly and carefully, and never collapse hoops when they are cold.
When your hoop first arrives, or if you have had it collapsed for longer than a few hours, release the button from its hole and allow the hoop is sit and expand for a few hours before reconnecting it.
If you find the hoop difficult to open, do not yank it - a gentle wiggle-pull motion is what you need. If the button does not sit perfectly in its hole upon closing the hoop, gently twisting one end should solve that problem.
With taped hoops, a small amount of wrinkling is inevitable and normal when the hoop is collapsed, but should not be very noticeable when the hoop is restored to its full size.
