Some see a raven in these earrings and some see a crow....either way. they are both such fascinating birds, beautifully black, smart mischievous, and mysterious. Wear these earrings and carry the spirit of Crow/Raven with you!
The alchemy of making these earrings begins with recycled metal that is reclaimed and transformed using fire to burn the steel back to a 'blank slate' ready to be worked. I then develop the image with various materials including paint, ink, and/or colored pencils.

These earrings are lightweight and easy to wear. I like to make (and wear!) earrings that catch the eye, that look so unique people just have to ask about them. A hand made sterling silver ear wire compliments the final piece.

The earrings (without ear wire) measure 1 1/4" H x 3/4" W (3.3cm x 2cm).

Within the pair, each individual earring differs very slightly which reflects the organic hand made nature of my work and the individuality of the ravens(or crows!)

The earrings and the designs are made durable with a sealer coat and multiple applications of Renaissance Wax (a durable water-resistant wax developed for museum antiques and paintings).
The earrings are quite resilient, however, they are not meant to be worn while swimming or bathing
