My father was a geologist...the man who could tell us what that rock was and why the sky was blue. He had a passion for the earth, literally!

While he no longer walks with my children down wooded paths, his memory lives on through his extensive map collection! Using some of his old geological maps from his days at the department of geology at the University of Texas, I created a unique wall hanging using maps, reclaimed wood and my signature lettering. Maps will vary, as I use originals.

Additional maps are available, mostly in the Texas area, and can be created for your custom phrases too!

Most of these UT geology maps are black and off-white, so lettering can be customized for your look. I have distressed and antiqued the one on the photo for additional character
