Hand dyed donegal tweed yarn - Variegated hand dyed yarn in multiple colours, including red, blue, pink, orange, yellow and more! From Fibre Art Studio on Granville Island, Vancouver, Canada.

Colour way: Crimson Blues. This yarn was hand dyed by Yoriko Oki.
Due to the method used for dyeing this colour way, there are greater colour variations depending on the skein. They came from the same batch, but they are all one-of-a-kind yarn!

Would you like to add some rustic touch to your knitting? Try this yarn! The speckles of fibre in neutral colours create interesting colour effect and texture. With the mix of superwash merino and nylon, this yarn is perfect for socks, but also great for shawl, scarves, and sweaters (please note that this yarn is a little thinner and softer than our regular sock yarn, Mighty Elf).

85% superwash merino wool, 15% nylon.
100 grams / 3 1/2 oz, 400 meters / 438 yards per skein (one skein is enough to make a scarf or a pair of socks)
Gauge: 8 - 9 sts per 2.5cm or 1 inch on 2-2.75mm / US size 0-2 needles
Recommended crochet hook sizes: 2.25-3.5 mm / B-1 – E-4

Weight: fingering / sock / 4-ply

We use professional grade acid dye which has minimum impact on the environment.

Care instruction: hand wash, with cold water and mild detergent. Dry flat. Although this yarn is made of superwash wool, we recommend hand washing in order to prolong the life of your finished item. Please wash with similar coloured items. Colours may run slightly for the first few washes.
