I recently visited an aviation museum, and was reminded of this awesome logo for Piedmont Airlines. I knew that Piedmont Airlines was absorbed by US Airways at some point, and US Airways has since been absorbed by American Airlines. I thought it totally sucked that such a rad iconic logo would be forgotten forever - and I’ll admit that I really wanted one of these shirts for myself. So here’s the June 2017 shirt design for the Quarter Print Club! I hope you like it!

Piedmont Airlines still “kind of” exists I’m told. The brand is gone from airplanes (mostly), but it’s a parent company of some thing else. But, back in the day, Piedmont Airlines was the hometown airline for much of North and South Carolina, as well as Appalachia. It was a big deal for a little Carolina carrier to expand Baltimore, Nashville, and New York City.

I hope you like my revamped Piedmont Airlines logo - I've added in the gold band with the cities, as well as re-imagining the logo in as a vintage print.
