Best way to wash: use warm water, in a solution of detergents intended for this type of product. Wash and rinse temp. 30, max. 40 C. Wash carefully by "kneading", do not rub or twist. Rinse 2-3 times. Dry by spreading the wet product on the towel, and arranging the original shape.

What is this craft?
Nalbinding (Naalbinded, Nalebinded, Nalebinding, nålbindning, Nadelbinden) is an ancient yarn technique. Nowadays people often connect it to the Vikings and Scandinavia, although in reality nalbinding has been used almost all over the world. There are numerous nalbinding stitches. There are also various ways of holding the work and manipulating the loops.

Oslo stitch was named after a mitten found during excavations in Norway. It dates back to the 11th century.
Mammen stitch was named after a find in Denmark, in the grave of a man from the 10th century.
Finnish stitch was used in the so-called Eura nalbinding mittens from the 9th century - This stitch takes a lot of time and resources.

Nalbound woolen socks can stretch mostly lengthwise and can fit someone with slightly larger measurements. They can also be lightly felted to make them smaller - but please only try this if you are familiar with felting!
