A very simple and classic bow design! Finished bow is about 2.5 by almost 5 inches for the default but you can resize you like on your design software, or by adjusting the scale when you print the PDF template. You will need to pinch the center and glue in the back and the front. I tried to show a picture of how I pinched it. This material is metallic leopard faux leather from Hobby Lobby (by the ribbon). Happy crafting!
DIRECTIONS:
These are DIGITAL DOWNLOADS. No physical items will be shipped. All of my templates are fully resizable and customizable. You will need to download the zip file, unzip it, and then upload it to your cutting software. The buyer is responsible for making sure these files are compatible with your machine/computer. Due to the digital nature of the items, there are no refunds.
Terms of Use:
These bow designs were created by me and many of the embellishments were hand-drawn and then digitized. Therefore, I own the copyright for these templates. You may sell your physical bows that you make from these files, but do not share, sell, or alter these original files. Thank you for understanding!
MATERIALS:
I mostly use glitter canvas sheets, stiff felt, and glitter fabric. I buy it in sheets from Hobby Lobby and Amazon. Here is the link to what I usually get on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078WCLSKV/ref=twister_B078WBF5YP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
CRICUT SETTINGS:
I use a pink fabric mat and a can of quilter’s basting spray to temporarily adhere my fabric to my mat so it won’t shift around. The thicker fabrics tend to need the metallic leather setting with the deep cut blade (glitter canvas), the thinner glitter fabric cuts nicely with the faux leather paper thin setting, and the felt cuts well with the felt bonded setting.
TUTORIAL:
These bows do not come with instructions. They’re pretty self-explanatory. You basically just cut them, fold bow pieces in half, glue them and then glue the embellishments on top and add an alligator clip to the back. I’m always happy to answer questions if you need anything!
YouTube:
I made a kind of long video about how to make bows on youtube. You can check it out here. https://youtu.be/IAz84V3bjKY
