The wait is finally over!
Here is my 7-months-in-the-making rendition of Thor's mighty new weapon: Stormbreaker.
I paid close attention to detail, as I remodelled hundreds of times until I got it 100% accurate to the movie version, until I had the most accurate Stormbreaker in the World.
- It is 1:1 scale.
- It is 100% accurate to the movie version. I even sculpted realistic wood texture on the handle.
- It is dead simple to assemble (pardon the pun).
This product contains just the digital files to 3D print your own Stormbreaker.
- StormbreakerHandleFiles: includes from the end of the handle (handle01), all the way to Groot's fingers around the axe head (handle08). I recommend printing Handle06, Handle07 and Handle08 at at least 50% infill, because they are more delicate than the rest of the pieces.
- StormbreakerAxeCenterPieceAndHammerHead: includes the axe, center piece and hammer head files.
- StormbreakerImpactDisc: includes the impact disc at the end of the hammer head.
- StormbreakerAxeCutIntoPieces: includes the blade part of the axe, cut into 3 pieces, just in case your printer is not big enough to print the blade in one piece.
- AsgardianHandleFiles: recently added for free! It's the handle that Stormbreaker would've had if Eitiri had found it! Inspired by the Concept Art Book "The Road To Avengers: Infinity War".
You will have to get a 84 cm long and 8 mm wide metal rod for extra strength, to drive through the holes in the handle, and a 36 cm long and 8 mm wide one for the axe head.
The picture shown of me holding it is not this version. What you are getting is even better than the one shown in the picture! That is my old version, which doesn't have as much detail in the handle and the head, with clean runes and intricate detail, but I will also upload that one at a lower price, and offer a few more possibilities for the handle!
I would love for you to send me pictures on instagram (@henrycreations) of the finished props so I can see them and repost them!
Remember that the files are for personal use only.
Happy printing!
Henry
