One morning I was on my daily trail run when I wanted to slow down. I was tired and not feeling it. Just as I slowed to a walk, a fox crossed my path and stopped to look at me before trotting off into the woods.
I picked up the pace to get a better look, but she was gone.
It is said that the spirit of the fox is an omen of good luck and the fox will visit you when you need a reminder to be cunning, stealthy, discerning, or swift. That day I'm sure she knew what I needed, and came to tell me not to give up. I painted a watercolor painting to honor the vixen spirit; ever watchful and swift.
