Would you like to try out a knitting belt for a few weeks? Now's your chance!
Normally I make knitting belts with black straps. This is your chance to customize yours with _mocha_(dark_chocolate)_straps_! See the bottom half of the second photo.
If you order a belt, try it for a while! If you decide you don't like it, you will receive a full refund within two months (not including shipping and handling)!

1) Simply order a trial belt in the color you want. The listing photo closely represents the color of belt you'll be getting. If you'd like for me to send a photo of the belt I'll be sending, please let me know.
2) __Needles_are_sold_separately.__ You'll want to order a set (or more) of DPNs (if you don't already own long DPNs). Neither single-pointed needles nor circular needles will work in the belt. I'd recommend starting with the 13.5" bamboo or stainless steel needles. I also sell these DPNs: 9.5" stainless, 9.75" bamboo, 11.8" aluminum, 13.75" plastic and 15.75" aluminum.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A) I'll mail a demo belt (and the needles you ordered) to your home.
B) If you decide you like the belt, keep it and continue knitting with it. No further action is needed!
C) If you don't like the knitting belt, just mail it back within two months. I'll refund your order total (not including shipping and handling).

A knitting belt allows you to knit faster and with less stress on the hands and wrists. It also makes Fair Isle and intarsia knitting less fussy because you have more control over the yarn without holding the right needle.
Knitting belts allow people with arthritis, tendinitis, repetitive thumb injuries and other disabilities to knit more easily, because gripping a knitting needle can be painful. I started using a knitting belt and long double-pointed needles (DPNs) because I have thumb tendinitis. I wanted to tackle some circular knitting projects that I wouldn’t have been able to do with traditional circular needles.
For hundreds of years, knitters used knitting belts to facilitate their knitting, and much of their knitting was done when walking from place to place. Many of the great masterpiece knitting projects such as Shetland wedding ring lace shawls, Aran sweaters, and British fishermans’ ganseys were traditionally knit using a knitting belt and/or a knitting sheath.

* I stuff the leather belts with a black nylon netting, like what wedding veils are made of. You can get large needles through the netting, but you may need to work at the netting just a little at first to make a "channel" through it. It does not degrade over time, and you can shift it around a bit and modify the angle of the needle just as well as the traditional horsehair stuffing.
* All knitting belts come with a 30" belt (attached to the stuffed pouch) and one 30" extension belt so you can wear the pouch at your thigh, waist or hip. If you need a second 30" extension belt, please let me know, and I'll send one free of charge!
* Also included is a power-loading tool to reduce strain when holding a needle-full of work.
* Just a reminder... leather is a highly variable product. If you purchase a hand-dyed belt, please know that I have dyed it as evenly as possible, but there may be some shading variations and/or imperfections. If you'd like for me to take a photo of your actual product, please let me know.
* If you don't see what you need, or if the ordering process isn't working, please let me know what you'd like via convo, and I'll put together a custom invoice for you.
** Please note: long double-pointed needles (DPNs) are sold separately.
