Here it is, finally. The end of the world. The real one.

This is a true handmade linocut print, after Albrecht Dürer's well known 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. The plate was made during 2 years, then waited 2 years more for enough time to be printed by hand. Then the lockdown came to the rescue.

This linocut print is twice bigger than the original wood engraving. It was printed during 4 half-day printing sessions with a glass baren on BFK Rives acid free paper, using Cranfield safe wash black ink. You bet it required some sweat.

As every handmade print, this 4 horsemen print has some variations and defects one from another, which is kind of an authenticity proof. Giclee prints don't do that.

1 color linocut, edition of 28, numbered & signed.
Cranfield Safe Wash inks, BFK Rives 115g. acid free paper.
Print dimensions : 40 x 56 cm (15,7 x 22 inches approx.)
Sheet dimensions : 48 x 66 cm approx. (18,9 x 26 inches approx.)

Sent in a cardboard tube.
The printing process involves slight differences between prints.
