Water promotes oxidation, so it is best to remove your jewelry before you swim, shower, wash dishes, or work-out.
Treat them with care, let them be the first thing you take off and the first thing you put on to help avoid contact with hairspray, lotions, or perfume. All of these will lead to your jewelry becoming tarnished.

Store your jewelry in a zipped baggie or pouch to keep the oxygen away and prevent oxidation.

Gently buff your jewelry with a polishing cloth to help remove any oils or tarnish.

For hoop earrings, the measurements are typically in millimeters or inches, which measures the diameter of the hoops. To get a precise measurement, opt for a ruler with millimeters markings. To know your diameter, place the end of the ruler at the center of your lobe piercing, and measure the distance between your piercing and the bottom of your earlobe.

For cartilage piercings, you can take the measurements the same way, paying attention to the edge of your ear.

How to measure:
Wrap a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a bracelet and mark where the ends touch. Measure the distance between the end of the paper and the mark that you made to determine the bracelet length for a brilliant fit.

How to measure for a bangle:
Partially close your hand so that your thumb and pinky finger are touching. Wrap a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper around the widest part of your hand (knuckle area) and mark where the ends touch. Measure the distance between the end of the paper and the mark you made to determine the diameter of your hand. Compare the diameter of your hand to the diameter of the bangle for a brilliant fit.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you’ve made to determine what size to order.
