Hi! Welcome to Jilly Willy Art. My name is Jill Morris, but my nickname is Jilly Willy. My focus is on the fun, therapeutic process of painting. I usually start with a photo that I have taken, or that a client sends to me. I listen to Pandora.com, nature sounds, and then the process of turning the photo into a painting starts.
I paint in watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic, pastels, and mixed media. I like to dabble in ceramics, jewelry making, and home do it yourself projects.
My favorite art project was raising my two children. My son graduated in 2016 from the US Merchant Marine Academy, and water is our family fun. My daughter, Jeni, and son in law, Marcus, help me with my marketing. I am happiest and peaceful looking at water scenes. Painting water scenes is my passion. I paint every day, and teach in workshops.
I am proud to say that my studios have been featured in cloth.paper.scissors magazine, summer, 2012.
