My passion for horses and creating art began as a young girl in Pennsylvania. At around age six, I experienced an event that changed my life. I rode a pony at the Philadelphia Zoo. Those five minutes began a life-long need to know these amazing creatures. Throughout my childhood, I spent most of my time drawing, riding or learning about horses.

My higher education began with an Associate Degree in Equine Science from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Since my spare time was spent drawing, I decided to gain formal art training and pursue a degree in art. In 1999, I earned a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (Communication Design/Illustration) at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Currently, I reside in Lebanon, Pa. with my husband and 2 young boys. They keep me busy these days but I do paint and ride a horse whenever I can.
I also knit and make other stuff. My artwork is mostly horses and figures though I do like to paint landscapes of the places I've been.
