I have been sewing for almost as long as I can remember. My Dad purchased a sewing machine, for me, at a public sale and I made clothes for my dolls.
I created a lot of my own clothes thru High School. As an Art Major it seemed obvious!

When I married and had babies, I created for them, too. Some of which was repurposing clothes before it was cool! I specifically remember adding lace to a turtleneck so my daughter could wear a hand me down from her brother. :o)

For over 5 years I have been altering Wedding Gowns, Prom, and Bridesmaid gowns for a Bridal Salon.

I can't seem to get away from my sewing machine and serger and am so excited to open this shop.

I look for quality clothes at thrift stores, yard sales, estate sales, and family pre-loved clothing. It takes alot of time but I love every minute. I wash the items before I create and also after to assure my repurpose coutures are still beautiful.

I will continue to add new Couture items and I hope you will find something you love.
