I was born and raised in southern California, but have lived in NYC long enough to also consider myself a New Yorker. I'm the Music Booker & Talent Coordinator at The Daily Show by day and craft things for this shop at night!
With the help of a friend and a "teach yourself how to crochet" pamphlet, I learned how to crochet my senior year of college. That same year, shortly after being hired at The Daily Show, a co-worker & I shared an hour lesson to learn to knit. I haven't been able to stop since! I carry a project with me wherever I go - I knit or crochet on the subway, in cars, on airplanes. I even have projects with me at work and knit or crochet in the green room while waiting for the guest to arrive or the show to start taping. I like to say I don't like having idle hands, but my mom likes to call me obsessed. I suppose both are true!
Inspired by art, music and people on the streets of New York City, the bshorr handmade collection includes knitted and crocheted accessories that are both functional and fashionable. Handcrafted in the wee hours of the night, bshorr wearables include items for women, men and babies, and are made with the highest quality of fibers. Everything you see here is limited edition or one-of-a-kind pieces made in my cigarette-free/cat-friendly apartment with my own two hands!
Super big thank yous to all of my beautiful friends and their babies for being my models!
