I come from a very large family. My Granny placed a needle in my hand at two, yes two years, old buttons were my first lesson. My great aunt Harriet introduced me to books. Books are another important part of my life. My grandfather taught me to caress wood and appreciate the sheen and feel of a beautiful piece. My Grandma placed a paint brush in my hand and allowed me to create while she worked on her paintings. And many of my other Great aunts and uncles taught me to see the beauty around me, and love life to the fullest.
My greatest lesson came from my Great Grandma she would tell me "They only thing you cannot do, is something you do not want to do."
From handmade to collectibles, I love it all.
The hunt for a treasure, a book, or pattern is a thrill. Sharing my finds has become another.
I spend a lot of time with photography, researching and listing each item. Very careful listings are being done, but mistakes will happen. I am human after all.
